Dataverse

Microsoft Dataverse (previously known as Common Data Service) is a cloud-based data platform that allows organizations to store and manage their data in a centralized location. It is part of the Microsoft Power Platform and is designed to enable the creation of custom business applications and solutions. Dataverse provides a set of pre-built entities (such as accounts, contacts, and opportunities) that can be used to store and manage data, as well as tools for creating custom entities and relationships between them. It also includes integrations with other Microsoft services, such as Power BI and Flow, to allow for data analysis and automation of business processes. Dataverse can be accessed through a variety of interfaces, including a web-based application, APIs, and connectors for Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate. It is designed to be flexible and scalable, and can be used to store and manage a wide range of data types, including structured and unstructured data. Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Virtual Agents and Power Pages default subscription capacities leverage the same tenant and infrastructure and will accrue across one tenant. Every tenant with a Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Virtual Agents and Power Pages license receives default capacity. In addition, for each Power Apps per user, Power Apps per app, Power Automate per user, Power Automate per flow plan and Power Pages license there is additional accrued capacity added to the tenant. - Dataverse database and file capacity entitlements for subscription plans are pooled at the tenant level. - Dataverse database and file capacity entitlements are applied to each environment with pay-as-you-go billing enabled and are not granted for each monthly active user. Consumption of additional Dataverse capacity beyond the monthly entitlement or Power Platform request overage in the environment will also be billed to the Azure subscription.
